I wish for that day,
That craving which won’t go away,
That You and I are standing here,
That moment is not quite near,
Each of us with a glass of red wine.
I would love to see your eyes wide opened and shine,
For I do love you, I’d wish you were fine.
What there is though,
Which makes all this a lie,
Is that you do not exist,
My heart is clenched to a fist.
I want it to happen,
This moment in which,
There is only you and I,
That craving which won’t go away,
That You and I are standing here,
That moment is not quite near,
Each of us with a glass of red wine.
I would love to see your eyes wide opened and shine,
For I do love you, I’d wish you were fine.
What there is though,
Which makes all this a lie,
Is that you do not exist,
My heart is clenched to a fist.
I want it to happen,
This moment in which,
There is only you and I,
To make true this dream of mine.
